LushyChat

Security

This page covers how LushyChat thinks about security and safety at a high level. It is not a full technical spec. It is here to help you use the product responsibly.

Your controls in the product

You can end a match right away, block users who behave badly, and report anyone who breaks our rules or makes you unsafe. These tools are here so you are never stuck in a conversation that feels wrong.

  • Skip or leave. Drop the current match without having to explain why.
  • Block. Lower the chance of running into the same person again, based on how blocking works in the product.
  • Report. Flag behavior that may break policy or law so our team can review it. See Reporting for more.

Transport and sessions

Connections to our website and APIs use HTTPS. Real-time video and audio rely on WebRTC and related protocols supported by your browser and device. Data in transit is protected with industry-standard transport security for those channels.

A video chat is still a live conversation with another person. Do not treat it as a private vault. Avoid sharing passwords, financial information, your home address, or anything you would regret if it got repeated or recorded. Use strong, unique passwords for your account, and lock your device with a screen lock.

Moderation and enforcement

We mix automated signals, user reports, and human review where it makes sense to enforce our policies. We may warn, restrict, or close accounts that put others at risk or threaten the integrity of the service. We cannot promise real-time review of every session.

Privacy and data

Security and privacy overlap. For example, what we log when you report an incident, or how long we keep certain records. Those details live in our Privacy policy.
