Reporting
When to report
Consider reporting if you experience or witness things like:
- Harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
- Sexual content involving minors, or any sexual exploitation of minors.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery or threats to share private material.
- Attempts to get financial information or passwords, or other scams.
- Other conduct that breaks our Terms and conditions or applicable law.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Online reporting tools are not a replacement for emergency response.
How to report in the product
Use the report option in LushyChat during or after a session, as available in your version of the app. Follow the prompts and give us as much accurate detail as you can. Tell us what happened, when, and fill in any other fields we ask for. Clear reports are easier to handle fairly.
You can also use the block and skip controls to protect yourself without waiting for a review outcome.
What we may review
To look into reports, we may review information allowed under our Privacy policy, such as session metadata, account identifiers, and what you submitted with your report. We use this for safety, enforcement, and legal compliance, not for unrelated marketing.
What to expect after you report
We try to handle reports in a way that lines up with our policies and our capacity. We may not be able to tell you the specific outcome on another user's account, for privacy and safety reasons. Serious violations can lead to warnings, restrictions, or a permanent ban.
If you think we missed something important, you can follow any appeal or escalation path we publish in the product, where it is available.
Law enforcement
We work with lawful requests from authorities when we are legally required to and when it lines up with our policies. If you want police involvement, contact your local law enforcement directly with the relevant facts. We will respond to valid legal process as applicable.
